Charlotte Istel is a writer and filmmaker who has written, directed and produced several of her own works. She also works as a Story Producer and Researcher on documentary series.

Her short film HOLY WEEK was awarded Honorable Mention for Best Screenplay at the Queens World Film Festival, as well as nominated for Best Director and Best Short Film. Her pilot script HOLY WEEK was a finalist for Sundance’s YouTube New Voices Lab. Her previous film MICKY was an Official Selection at Boston LGBT Film Festival, Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, and won the Audience Choice Award at Indie Works film festival. Her film CLOT was also an Official Selection at Indie Works film festival and Unmentionables Film Festival.

She is currently developing a food guide @thedopaminediner and making more movies. Charlotte was raised in Brooklyn, NY but you can also find her in Los Angeles depending on her mood.
